Each room will open onto a large private balcony enjoying a dramatic and unobstructed view across the River Douro to the historic centre of Oporto. Rooms and suites

Executive Room
Each hotel room is spacious, enjoying views over the historic city of Porto or garden from a furnished private terrace or balcony. Rooms are also individually decorated, discreetly themed with artifacts and pictures by a well-known Portuguese wine producer, giving an overview of some elements from their vineyard and their wines. The Executive Rooms are located on the lower floors of the Hotel (on floors 1, 2 and 3 of the east wing), further away from the main building and requiring 2 lifts to be accessed.
Terrace or Balcony: Every Executive Room features a furnished private terrace or balcony from which to enjoy the view.
Bathtub or Shower: In each Executive Room you will find both, a deep soaking tub with views and a separate walk-in-shower.

Superior room
Each Superior room is spacious, enjoying views over the historic city of Porto and the garden from a spacious, furnished private terrace. Traditional, whitewashed louvered shutters can be opened to give each bathroom a stunning view of Porto. Rooms are also individually decorated, discreetly themed with artifacts and pictures by a well-known Portuguese wine producer, giving an overview of some elements from their vineyard and their wines. Superior Rooms are located on floors 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Superior Deluxe Room
Each room is exceptionally spacious, enjoying panoramic views over the River Douro to the historic city of Porto from a spacious, furnished private terrace. Traditional, whitewashed louvered shutters can be opened to give each bathroom a stunning view of the city. Rooms are also individually decorated, discreetly themed with artifacts and pictures by a well-known Portuguese wine producer, giving an overview of some elements from their vineyard or about their wines. Superior Rooms Deluxe are located on floors 5, 6 and 7.

Suites

Taylor`s Suite
Taylor’s Suite is comfortable, luxurious and refined, situated on the 1st floor with a spacious, furnished terrace and direct access to the Hotel’s gardens. The gardens provide easy access to many different hotel areas on other floors making it ideal to explore from. You will be able to enjoy the views over the historic city of Porto as well as the gardens from the comfort of your terrace and your Suite. Due to its position, the views are some of the closest to Porto. The Suite has a comfortable sized living area with a sofa and a rotating 48 inch LCD screen allowing you to watch television from the king size bed or the sofa. The room reflects warm colours through its elegant decoration and the final touches focus on Taylor’s Port brand, portraying photographs of old labels, decanters and pictures from this legendary Port house’s history, in keeping with the Hotel’s wine concept. Lastly, the bathroom provides a shower and separate bathtub, together with premium products, allowing you to relax and enjoy the magnificent views over Porto through the spectacular bathroom shutters. Suites are located on the lower floors of the Hotel (on floors 1 and 2 of the east wing), further away from the main building and requiring 2 lifts to be accessed.

Suite Quinta da Roêda
The Quinta da Roêda Suite, is a very comfortable, spacious and luxurious Suite to relax in. It has a living room area with a sofa and a practical rotating 48 inch TV screen, which allows you to watch television from the comfort of your King size bed or from the sofa. The bookcase offers a wealth of literature including about Portuguese culture and the wine theme and children will also have time and books to read. The decoration offers a warm colour palette and the details relate to Quinta da Roêda, Croft’s very well-known wine estate, portraying photographs, old labels, decanters and other decorative items which illustrate the brand and underscore the hotel’s intriguing wine concept.

You will be able to enjoy the beautiful views over the historic city centre of Porto, the river Douro and the pretty hotel gardens from your small varanda.
The bathroom has a shower and bathtub with white wooden shutters allowing the superb views over the city to be experienced from inside the bathroom.

Suite Geographic Wines
The views overlooking Porto’s riverside ‘Ribeira’ area and The Yeatman’s gardens are superb from this Suite and you will be able to enjoy these from the Suite and from your balcony, which is equipped with two chairs, ideal for reading and enjoying the views. The suite’s bookcase provides books to read in English and Portuguese and also for the children. The Geographic Wines Suite bestows images of the Port wine brand through pictures on the walls and other decorative elements. The bathroom is equipped with premium amenities and offers a shower as well as a bathtub, where you can enjoy the superb views over Porto, the river Douro or the gardens, from the spectacular wooden shutters.

Suites Deluxe

Suite Cartuxa
Suite Cartuxa, located on 5th floor, is incredibly light and airy, with carpeted floors, a living room area, dressing area and private terrace. The Wine Partner associated with Suite Cartuxa is the well known Portuguese wine producer Cartuxa, with photographs and artifacts from their property in the Alentejo region. As well as luxurious comfort and comprehensive amenities, our generously proportioned Suites Deluxe offer a relaxing living area with sofa and lounge chairs as well as a fully furnished private terrace with breathtaking views over the Douro River and the historic city centre of Porto. This suite has been individually decorated, with light yellow walls and matching furnishings. Suites Deluxe are luxuriously appointed and decorated. Each suite has a private terrace or varanda and are perfect for families with children. Many suites are situated on corners of the hotel and will benefit from spectacular sunsets. Many suites can be configured as a two-bedroom suite with the addition of a connecting room. Suites Deluxe are located on floors 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Suite Lima Smith
This Suite Deluxe, located on the 5th floor, from our Wine Partner Lima Smith, is incredibly light and airy, with carpeted floors, a living room area and private terrace. Master Suite Taylor`s
The Wine Partner associated with this Master Suite is Taylor`s, the well known Port brand that has been producing port for over 300 years and the room has been decorated to include many features and artifacts from the Taylor`s brand and its vineyards. As well as luxurious comfort and comprehensive amenities, Master Suites offer the ultimate in space and luxury. The stylish and individually decorated master suites feature fully furnished living areas, separate from the bedrooms, a unique king size bed, an extended terrace with sofa and dining table as well as a lavish standard of equipment and comfort. The fully furnished private terrace offers breathtaking views over the historic city centre of Porto and the gardens. Master Suites are located on floor 4.

Master Suite 412 - AdF Suite
The bed head is an original barrel top and the domed oak ceiling mimics the curvature of the enormous oak barrels used in the vinification process. The Wine Partner associated with Master Suite 412 is ADF. ADF wines are produced by the famous Douro wine producer, Niepoort. The room is decorated with several artefacts and photos pertaining to ADF. Traditional, whitewashed louvered shutters open to give the bathroom a stunning view of the city. This Master Suite has been individually decorated, with light yellow walls and matching furnishings. As well as luxurious comfort and comprehensive amenities, Master Suites offer the ultimate in space and luxury. Master Suite 414 - Taylor`s Master Suite

Master Suite 414 is incredibly light and airy, with carpeted floors, a spacious living room area, private dressing room area, covered terrace and undoubtedly, its most spectacular feature, a four poster barrel bed. The bed is set within an enormous oak barrel, raised off the ground on small pillars, with dual stair access from either side. As well as luxurious comfort and comprehensive amenities, Master Suites offer the ultimate in space and luxury. The stylish and individually decorated master suites feature fully furnished living areas, separate from the bedrooms, a unique king size bed, an extended terrace with sofa and dining table as well as a lavish standard of equipment and comfort. The fully furnished private terrace offers breathtaking views over the historic city centre of Porto and the gardens. Master Suites are located on floor 4.

The Artist Suite
The perfect urban retreat from the bustling streets of historic Porto, The Artist Suite, situated on the 7th floor, is designed in a contemporary classic style. The lounge is equipped with sofa area, with LCD television and a dining table located in front of the fireplace. The bedroom has a second television for your convenience and king size bed. Leading on from the sleeping area is a desk and workspace. As with all rooms and suites at the hotel, The Artist Suite is no exception in having panoramic views from the bathtub, from where you can relax and indulge in the beautiful views. There is also a spacious double walk-in shower. For larger families or those with accompanying guests, this Suite also has the advantage of a further interconnecting Superior room, which can be reserved separately, and a service area with separate access for cleaning and room service staff. Offering a true sense of luxury and space with the best views over Porto and the Douro River, The Artist Suite is arguably the most impressive suite in the whole city.

The Bacchus Suite
The Bacchus Suite, situated on the 9th floor, extends onto a furnished conservatory with fireplace and a private exterior terrace from which to marvel at the splendid panoramic views of Porto and the River Douro. A round bathtub features a freestanding fireplace to one side and city views to the other, whilst the large rotating bed can be positioned to view one of two large plasma TV screens or to face the expansive views offered. The furnished conservatory features a further fireplace and opens onto a large exterior terrace with a small fountain and deck beds, the perfect place to relax on a hot summer’s evening. The Bacchus Suite also features a double shower and dressing room, lounge area with plasma TV and an office space. Wooden floors throughout help to emphasise the open plan design of the suite and maintain a light and airy feel throughout.

The Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite of The Yeatman provides an exclusive experience of comfort and luxury.
With spectacular views of historic Porto and the river Douro, this two-bedroom suite is designed to offer unforgettable memories. From the Port wine barrel shaped bed to each single detail, it reflects the pure essence of the city’s heritage and culture. The Presidential suite, situated on the 5th floor, is one of the brand-new suites of The Yeatman and the most luxurious. With 170 m2 (1,830 sq. ft.), it has its own private swimming pool and garden with panoramic views, offering a relaxing retreat experience. The spacious terrace, with 115m2 (1,238 sq. ft.), is perfect to rest and contemplate the stunning and inspirational scenery shaped by the Porto skyline. You can even observe the city’s exquisite details through the suite’s telescope on a clear day or starry night. The suite is lavishly designed with two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and two living room areas both providing access to the terrace, garden and pool. To emphasise the sensation of comfort, it has a fireplace, a large copper bathtub, a widescreen television and a service kitchen, that allows the preparation of light meals and refreshments. The lounge area, also with panoramic views, provides a separate area for socialising or a comfy space for the children to play. The Presidential Suite is all about luxurious details. The master bed is carved into a large and masterfully crafted wooden Port barrel. The Chef gourmet Cuisine Porto 5 star luxury hotel Portugal
Ricardo Costa was born and raised in Aveiro, Portugal, and has been Head Chef at The Yeatman since the Hotel opened in 2010. Under his direction The Yeatman’s Restaurant earned 2 Michelin Stars in 2017. Chef Ricardo Costa favours Portuguese gastronomy, in keeping with the Hotel’s philosophy, showcasing the best of what Portugal has to offer, its local products and traditional recipes prepared with contemporary flair and innovative techniques.
